 Old Man Cactus Trouble

Hi folks ! I bought an old man cactus last week that has a brown patch on the back of the top of the column and I don't know what it could be but I bought it in a place that kept the cacti in low light corner...the cactus is about 10-11 inches tall and has another of same species in same pot smaller and perfectly healthy looking
