On 10/30/09 I grabbed a cactus by accident.Although the needles did'nt break off in my hand,it is causing mild throbbing.
Why would this continue to hurt for hours.Is it because it contains venom,or is it normal because the hand is sensitive to begin with.Will it cause any other problems swelling etc.?

On 7/6/08 I bumped into some sort of cactus in my friends plant store. I was able to pull alot of the needles out, but now a week and half later, my elbow has little red bumps from where it was. Clearly I did not get them all out. It looks a bit like eczema. Any suggestions on what I can use to draw them out. No idea the variety of cactus. Thanks!!
