While staying in nearby Clarksdale for the King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, AR, I decided I had to visit a local garden center and found Aldridge Gardens. What luck! Mr. Aldridge not only took me on a tour of all his sale areas, describing each plant and its growth habits, but then took me around his home and pointed out all the landscaping things there as well. We chatted for a LONG time! How generous of him with his time, which I know was limited. I came away having seen plants growing that I had only seen in garden catalogs before - we are Zone 4a here - and bought one that I hope will make it here and keep the memory of my visit going. Thanks again!
