To late it already died. It turns out the other cactus in the pot killed it. I took it in to my biology teacher and she said if I wanted to make a despeate try to save it that I should repot it but them it died that night

Ok so my cactus has this mold looking substance on it and I don't know what to do!!! Will it be alright? I mean it even smells like mold. Also this cactus is sharing a pot with andother cactus that is perfectly healthy is the healthy cactus at risk? Please help I don't want to be the person that killed a cactus!!!
